Many things have changed in recent months, for everyone. And I wholeheartedly agree with the universal phrase "adapt or die." Perhaps we'll adapt and still... die (as a business). I don't know. But at least we're going to try. We certainly have the desire.
Therefore, with some trepidation, a lot of hard work, and tons of enthusiasm, I present to you our new business division, available throughout the Iberian Peninsula: SH HOME & GARDEN . My idea is to gradually incorporate products that I love and test in my own home, and offer them to you online.
Many of you know that we used to hold beautiful pop-up shops in our studio during the summer and Christmas seasons, where we offered products that particularly caught my eye, as well as products from brands I personally used. For now, we can't do that again, so we've found this middle ground. The great thing about doing it online is that those of you who live outside Madrid—and we know we have many followers throughout the rest of Spain—will have the same opportunity to buy as those who live here. And you'll receive your order at home within 24-48 hours. Which I think is incredibly convenient. It doesn't replace seeing and touching the products in person, but… since that's not possible right now—we don't have the space to display everything in the shop—you have my opinion as a guarantee of quality, functionality, aesthetics, and price. Because EVERYTHING I offer is something I have or would have in my own home and garden.
And it will be a constantly evolving section. Right now, we're focused on adding products for your summer tables—napkins, candles, candlesticks, vases, dried flower arrangements, etc.—but we'll be regularly adding new sections: antiques, garden items, Christmas decorations, and more. There's a lot of competition in this sector, but… we know that in the past you've chosen us over the international giants, and we hope that will continue. Many of us rely on your support. Not just the 14 of us who make up SH , but all the artisans and producers who create these beautiful products. And in advance, THANK YOU. We need you now more than ever.
And THANK YOU also to my team, who have given their all to help me shape this SH HOME & GARDEN. It's not easy to radically change a team's work dynamic. There are no more events. No more workshops. But… we're resilient. Florists are made of different stuff. I would love for you to see what we do throughout a whole week: I think many of you would be surprised. We have a great capacity for adaptation. What's now called resilience, and which is so fashionable ;-). And an enormous capacity for work. And I'm not saying that just for myself! -at least not just for me-.
