We now have the new courses for the months of October and November at The Flower School.
One of the new features is that, in addition to Sally, this time the courses will be taught by other instructors: Mar, our senior florist and expert in bridal bouquets and, in general, bouquets for all kinds of occasions; and Julia, our specialist in decorations and headpieces with freeze-dried flowers. In this way, we hope to offer three different perspectives, but with a common thread, which is the style that defines our work at Sally L. Hambleton for The Workshop Flowers.
As you know, places are limited, 8 per course, so if you are interested, call us on 91 562 4709 or write to us at shop@sallyhambleton.com as soon as possible!
In addition to these scheduled courses, we are always open to suggestions and can organize private working breakfasts or afternoon teas for friends, for as long as you like. Contact us for a quote.
You can also give a course as a Christmas gift, and although we don't yet have next year's dates, you have the option of giving a "Christmas gift flower bouquet course" , which they can use in the following season.

Autumn centerpieces:
This course lasts 1.5 hours. Mar will teach you how to decorate your table with the flowers available at this time of year, which is perhaps our favorite! Flowers, branches, moss, fruit… anything goes!
Dates: October 7th and 21st
Schedule: 8-9:30 pm
RRP: €125
Flowers in containers made by students:
In this course, Sally will teach each client how to arrange flowers in a container that each student brings from home. This course was suggested by a client, and she calls it "Birds of a Feather." It's not the same to arrange flowers in a tall, narrow vase as it is in a short, wide one, for example. We found it very useful and instructive.
Dates: October 22
Schedule: 8-9:30 pm
RRP: €145
Pumpkin centerpieces:
This course lasts 1.5 hours. Mar will teach you how to decorate the table with autumn flowers using a pumpkin as a container.
Dates: October 28
Schedule: 8-9:30 pm
RRP: €125
Autumn flower bouquets:
This course lasts 1.5 hours. Mar will teach you how to make flower bouquets with all the materials typical of this time of year: fruits, branches, moss… as well as flowers.

Half Crown/Headpiece of *freeze-dried* natural flowers:
This course lasts 2 hours. No prior experience is necessary, but some manual dexterity is required. Julia, our headpiece expert, will teach you how to: wire flowers, petals, and leaves; combine colors, shapes, and textures; place the flowers on the crown and finish it with ribbons, bobbin lace, or fabric.
Dates: October 9 and 23
Schedule: 7:30-9:30 pm
RRP: €225
Freeze-dried natural flowers are flowers that have undergone a special treatment. Also called "stabilized" flowers, they retain their flexibility, shape, and texture, and are generally available in a wide variety of colors (always dyed).
Complete wreath of freeze-dried natural flowers:
Unlike the previous one, this course lasts 4 hours in which Julia will teach you how to make a complete wreath: wire the flowers, petals and leaves; combine colors, shapes and textures; place the flowers on the wreath and finish it with ribbons, bobbins or fabric.
Dates: October 12, 20 and 26 and November 16, 23 and 30
Hours: 4-8 pm

Headbands made of fresh, natural flowers:
This course lasts 1.5 hours. Julia will teach you how to make a headband with fresh, natural flowers for your next events.
Dates: November 13, 20 and 27
Schedule: 8-9:30 pm
RRP: €125
Boater hat adorned with freeze-dried natural flowers:
In this course, also taught by Julia, each student will decorate a straw boater hat with freeze-dried natural flowers. Students will need to tell us their hat size. It's easy! Just measure your head! Sizes are usually around 54, 56, or 58.

We hope you like them! As you'll see, the selection is much larger and more varied than in previous courses, and we've tried to incorporate all your suggestions. All the courses are designed for people with no experience in this field, as well as for those who already have experience and want to find them useful. They're suitable for both professional florists looking to refresh their skills or find some inspiration, and for people who have already taken two or three courses with us and want to continue learning. After each course, students will take home the arrangements they've created.
We remind you that you have three ways to purchase the courses: online , by phone, 91 562 47 09, and by email: shop@sallyhambleton.com
The classes will take place in our store, located at 10 Gabriel Lobo Street in Madrid. All materials used for the class will be of the highest quality. A 10% discount will be offered on all purchases made by students on the day of the course; this discount is not valid on any other day. Photography is permitted, but video recording is not allowed.
We look forward to seeing you, as always, with great enthusiasm!
