For me, the year always begins in September. It's the time for good intentions! I always come back rested, happy, and excited about all the good things that autumn (possibly my favorite season) and winter have in store for us.
I always think of my father… who gets a little sad when this time of year comes around and the days seem to get shorter. It's funny, because I always thought it was because he was going back to work. But he's been happily retired for years, with a fascinating intellectual life and a social life I'd love to have. And even so… this time of year makes him sad.
I recommend you check out this blog: www.blomsterverkstad.blogspot.se. Every single picture I see makes me want to drop everything and run for a walk in the countryside!
Well, not me! I'm coming in full force, with a thousand projects and many other things that have me exhausted by this point in September... but HAPPY!
And one of my real and true goals is this: starting this week (that is, tomorrow or Sunday, there will be another post with a surprise!!! so stay tuned!), there will be at least two posts a week on this blog. I'm going to give myself extra pay for doing it (hahahaha! I wish!) to see if that motivates me more! (How easy would it be if that worked for everything, right???).
I hope to share a little bit of my positive view of autumn and winter with you.
Happy ending!

S.
