This is the third and final post on this topic! If you missed the previous ones, you can read them here. here and here .
As I mentioned in the previous post, my mother-in-law took care of preparing all the food. They're a huge family, and she can feed 100 people without breaking a sweat. I don't know how she does it. She made a delicious and more elaborate meal for the adults, but for the children, we wanted something simpler and more fun, and above all, something they would really enjoy! So we prepared two slightly special things for them, but nothing too elaborate: a hot dog cart and a small candy table for their afternoon snack. It was essential, in the case of the candy table, to keep it covered with a mosquito net until after the snack time. This prevented the candy from disappearing before lunch and also helped protect it from insects. The one we used was white and quite large.

The sweets were nothing special. Bought in bulk and simply placed in sturdy glass jars. The rest of the items we used to decorate the table belong to our event decor collection. The sign is from Rue Vintage 74 and are fully customizable.

The cupcakes were special and they were gone in 5 minutes! Paula is the owner of Cream Bakery And another artist. Her cakes and cupcakes are not only beautiful, but also delicious. The real thing!
During lunch, Angelica surprised us with a speech she had prepared all by herself. I knew she had written something, but I didn't think she would dare to read it in public. She had a tough moment before she mustered up the courage, when she saw the 80 people, children and adults, with their eyes on her… and she almost gave up. But in the end, she was brave, climbed the stairs, and read us her little speech. Well done, Angie!

And, at the end of the speech, along with the reminders, she passed around the "gorrilla" (in her case, a tray with a box and a sign that she had prepared) for an NGO called JUEGATERAPIA , for whom she had asked for help, donating part of her gift to these sick children.

And after all that, it was really hard to keep the kids occupied any longer, and they all jumped into the pool. According to Angie, it was the best part of the party! (So much effort when, in the end, all they want is water!).
And that concludes my account of today. I hope you enjoyed it and, above all, I hope you were able to get some ideas for your own celebrations. Thank you to everyone who helped me:
