I present to you my new baby: “SALLY HAMBLETON, Flowers to go.”
Photo: LuciaM. PhotographyOn Tuesday the 2nd, Casilda se Casa shared the scoop on the opening on the Vogue blog. A million thanks, Cas! We've been counting on your support for years and years. 😉 Very much appreciated. And today I'm going to tell you, in my own words, what this new project is all about.
What is Sally Hambleton, Flowers to go? And to explain it I'm going to use a phrase from my dear Enric Pastor, Director of AD Spain, a little while ago: “I like your shift from Haute Couture to Pret-a-Porter.” That’s essentially what “SALLY HAMBLETON, Flowers to Go” is: a ready-to-wear version of our products. A more standardized, more accessible product (available 12 hours a day, 362 days a year), but with the same meticulous attention to detail.
After 11 years of hard work and continuous learning, listening to our customers, and observing what works in other parts of the world, the idea of creating a new concept to better integrate into people's daily lives kept resonating in my mind. Making our flowers more accessible to all flower lovers. Those of us who adore flowers want them every day in our homes and workplaces; we don't need a special reason. But at the same time, we don't want to compromise on the style and quality of the flowers carefully selected and crafted for special occasions. We want it all! Accessibility, quality, and style.
When El Corte Inglés offered us the opportunity to be part of their space on Castellana, my heart skipped a beat. Suddenly, I had the perfect opportunity to give wings to my " ready to go" project. And that's where it was born SALLY HAMBLETON, flowers to go . Same flowers, same style, same quality, different format. We offer ready-to-go bouquets.

We are happy and proud to have a partner like El Corte Inglés. They placed their trust in us, and we gave it our all. Thanks to 11 years of experience and countless hours of work, we have been able to develop a concept that is innovative in Spain but already well-known throughout the rest of Europe. And we've done it our way, tailored to our needs. Flowers for all.

All our bouquets will be made and ready to take away. Prepared by our florists every morning.
But in addition to bouquets, we will offer a carefully curated range of "Made in Spain" and "Made by our Friends" products that we absolutely love. Some of them have been with us for a while now. Among them are the soaps and candles from Olivia Soaps

The wonderful porcelain vases by Fernando Alcalde and the beautiful ceramics by Cristina Ortiz:

We will also have Gerardo, designed by our beloved Guille García-Hoz :

The wonderful designs of our friend Macarena Kindelán, now focused on her new project designing and selling socks Hopsocks But she has found time to offer us her Christmas cards again:

And also the brilliant illustrations of Abe the Ape , who has designed exclusively for us. 12 wonderful designs for different occasions:

All of this, combined with products from some international brands, which, due to their small production and design, fit perfectly with our philosophy:

Since I've gone on for too long, I'll prepare another post with the details of who helped us design, build, and decorate our space in record time: one month! It would have been impossible to do it without them.
I hope you like it! We're looking forward to seeing you all and hearing or reading your feedback. The space is right at the entrance to the Gourmet Experience at El Corte Inglés on Castellana. We're really looking forward to seeing you!
