It's funny that I'm writing this post from a room with 3-meter-thick stone walls that have stood for more than six centuries and belong to the The Castle of Good Love in Salamanca. A castle that a bishop bought and renovated in the 15th century for his lover, with whom he had four children. Not bad! There has definitely been a lot of love here, and there still is! Very special weddings are celebrated here, like that of my friends G&G.

If you haven't been, I highly recommend spending a weekend here – not Valentine's weekend, as it's fully booked! –. It's beautiful and the food is amazing.
Last year around this time I was writing This is basically what I always say when this time of year rolls around: yes, maybe it's a Corte Inglés invention, maybe it's tacky, maybe it's tacky… Whatever you want to call it. But the bottom line is: We girls LOVE flowers any time of the year . I promise you: any time of year. It doesn't matter. And if it's Valentine's Day... Well, that too.
And having said that (again), I'll add: boys like gifts too. Many I know like flowers, but in this case, I'll tell you that not all of them do. But there are other options for them. Like, for example:

But the fact is, we all like to be told we're loved. And Valentine's Day just helps us remember that, which is no small thing.
A few days ago I read the brilliant David Moralejo on his blog “ Cuaderno Secreto de Bon Vivant ” and it blew me away. After reading his post, I can't think of anything creative anymore. I can only show you the many gift options we have in our online store for whenever you want:

I hope you are among the lucky ones who do receive flowers on Valentine's Day.
Happy Valentine's Day to all!
