Every time this time of year rolls around, I think the same thing, and I find myself rather boring and unoriginal: I love receiving flowers… even on Valentine's Day. Why do I have to justify myself? Valentine's Day, Saint Pancras' Day, my birthday, my saint's day, my 100th Facebook friend, whatever! What does it matter? Just SEND ME FLOWERS… please!

And you'll have to forgive me, but 99.99% of the women I know think the same way. The problem is that those of you who read this blog… I think you're all women! So what do we do to get the message across to guys? I don't have an answer for that…

What I think I do notice is that most people don't have much time to rack their brains thinking... or going to buy from the wrong place. And for that, I have an answer! Ta-da! Here's an idea I loved for completing the flowers (hahaha!) and surprising them: A Valentine's Day fort! From the brilliant and super favorite DESIGN SPONGE ! It's a slightly complex DIY project... but one that can be easily adapted with a little imagination... and lots of fabrics and cushions!
