My posts are always too long. But today, the blame lies with... LuciaMphotography has done such beautiful work that choosing from almost 400 photographs seemed nearly impossible! –me and my ability to summarize–. So, this post will be the first in a series of two or three.
I always say that if a client wants to get the best out of me, all they have to say is, "Do it as if it were for your own daughter." So I tried doing the same. And I think I was right! Let me know what you think.

The first professional I trusted 100% - recommended by Bea from the blog With Rain Boots (Thank you so much Bea!) - it was in LuciaMPhotography . I couldn't have dreamed of more beautiful photos. I mean it. Lucia is pure sensitivity and pure artistry. Despite how challenging it is to photograph a party with 40 adults and 40 children—not a wedding, mind you—and the fact that the little girl in question wanted to take off her dress and run away… Despite all that, she did an incredible job. Thank you, Lucia, from the bottom of my heart. You went above and beyond, and I am incredibly grateful.

Okay, let me tell you. I never talk about clothes. But this time I'm going to, in case it's helpful to anyone. I bought Angelica's dress on eBay shortly after she was born. It was a time when I was hooked on buying vintage clothes (and other odds and ends!) online (my country house is practically furnished entirely with things bought on eBay), and this dress crossed my path. It cost me €45. The dress is made of very, very fine cotton, with lace and Valenciennes lace and tiny gathers, all hand-sewn. A marvel.

It was a bit damaged and also a little too big, so I asked Macarena Kindelan for advice. Since it was impossible to take the dress apart, she had a brilliant and incredibly inexpensive idea: to add two very thin velvet bows to the sides to cinch it in a bit. And, to show off the pintucks and embroidery, she suggested a sort of nude slip with a double ruffle at the hem, which would give the dress some body and, at the same time, lengthen it slightly. The slip is as beautiful as the dress itself, and I think we'll get a lot of use out of it!

To top it all off, Julia made me a wonderful freeze-dried flower crown. When you make hundreds of them a year, it's hard to choose which one you'd like for yourself. But I knew I wanted it to be delicate, not continuous, and for my hair to get tangled with the flowers and the velvet. I absolutely loved the result. Thank you so much, Julia! (If you'd like Julia to teach you how to make them, you can check the course dates.) here ).

The most important thing about the dress is that Angelica was comfortable and happy.

It was an important day for us as a family. We celebrated our daughter's First Sacrament, and she was fully aware of the significance of this step. She was very well prepared by her school, and the ceremony was very moving. She experienced it with great joy and emotion. We were so fortunate to be surrounded by many of our loved ones. We will always remember it as a very happy day.
To be continued!

(P.S.: Many people have asked me who did my hair and makeup. Well, simply the best: Ángel. I changed my wedding date because he couldn't make it that day. That says it all. He has a new website where you can find all the details) here ).
